Eyelit Inc. Purchases and Moves into New, Larger Corporate Headquarters to Support Continued Company Growth and Growing Market Acceptance of Integrated Manufacturing Execution (MES), Quality Management (CAPA) and Factory Automation Software Suite

New Office Building Provides Nearly Three Times More Office Space

September 14, 2007
Toronto—(BUSINESS WIRE)— Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, electronics, life sciences, semiconductor, and solar panel industries, announced today that it has purchased and moved into its new corporate office. The new office provides nearly three times more office space than the previously leased building and will provide Eyelit with the necessary office space to meet growing demand for its manufacturing software solutions and services.

This year marks the tenth anniversary for Eyelit Inc., and coincidentally its tenth consecutive year of profitability. Eyelit began its business in 1997 as an OEM technology provider of Java™-based solutions designed to enhance the capabilities, flexibility, and usability of PROMIS™ MES (recently acquired by Applied Materials from Brooks Automation). Today, Eyelit is the direct supplier of its own comprehensive product suite, including key shop-floor control solutions such as MES, CAPA (Quality and Workflow Management), Asset Management (Equipment Maintenance module), Product Costing, Business Intelligence, and the FactoryConnect automation solution.

All the solutions provided by Eyelit are designed and built from the ground up by Eyelit. As a result, Eyelit provides the quickest implementation time and most cost-effective solution in the marketplace today. Eyelit also uniquely provides a turn-key migration from legacy MES applications that can dramatically reduce the total cost of ownership and IT costs for companies looking for a competitive advantage.

“We are delighted with the new building; it gives us a place of our own, symbolizing our success over the years and shows the marketplace that Eyelit Inc. is in it for the long haul. We were able to acquire the new office without dramatically increasing our monthly expenses, providing room for growth and enabling us to continue to provide the most cost-effective enterprise MES solution in the marketplace. We are excited about recent wins in solar and flat panel manufacturing. These new markets, particularly thin film photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing, such as Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS) and Amorphous Silicon (a-Si), look to be a perfect fit for Eyelit’s solution,” stated CEO Salil Jain.
