Eyelit Announces Second Quarter Results for Its Award-winning Manufacturing Execution (MES) Software

Eyelit's global expansion drives a 55% increase in software license revenue for the second quarter of 2013

TORONTO, Canada—(BUSINESS WIRE) Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor (MEMS), and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today its continued steady growth throughout the second quarter and first half of 2013.

Business Results

Eyelit continued its growth in the first half of the year by increasing revenues by 20% over revenues in the first half of 2012. Software license sales were 50% higher for the second quarter in comparison to the second quarter of 2012. The substantial increase in the second quarter was driven by companies that chose to migrate from WorkStream, PROMIS, FactoryWorks, and other legacy systems to Eyelit’s state-of-the-art platform. “Companies in our target industries are initiating new MES projects around the globe,” stated Dan Estrada, Eyelit’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. “We have a very solid foundation for further expansion in all regions. We are executing these opportunities successfully in accordance with our strategy. Our recently announced partnership with SEMI Integration not only increases the network of our sales channels, but also extends the local coverage of Eyelit technical customer support in Asia.”

Product Updates

Customers are preparing to upgrade to the recently released Eyelit version 5.1 which will include the first general release of the Eyelit Dispatching™ and Eyelit Special Processing™ modules. These modules and many other enhancements were on display to customers during Eyelit’s 2013 User Conference in San Diego, California. In addition to Eyelit’s staff demonstrating the benefits and flexibility of these products at the conference, early adopters of Eyelit version 5.1 presented informative case studies of their success stories during collaborative sessions. A highlight of the conference was a keynote presentation from a Fortune 100 company that recently migrated from Workstream MES to Eyelit MES. The customer was pleased to report that over 50 formerly disparate systems were replaced by the integrated Eyelit Manufacturing™ and Eyelit Quality™ platform in phase I. Additional consolidation is planned for the next phases with the implementation of the Eyelit Operator Certification™ module.
