Through the deployment of electronic employees, Agentic AI is reengineering the manufacturing workplace. Active Eyelit deployments include agent-based planning, scheduling and execution within plant environments. Currently most implementations are configured in “caddie” mode where the agents are advising the process. As the technology evolves, the agents will work in “player” mode where they are operating the process themselves governed by decision guardrails and “human in the loop” process stage gates.
