Eyelit Technologies Version 10.2 Release Notes

Eyelit Version 10.2 builds on the foundation laid in 10.1. Agent EyeQ takes on a larger role in planning, engineer-to-order (ETO) and configure-to-order (CTO) manufacturers get planning built for how they work, scheduling gets faster at scale, and MES adds no-code control of the regulatory record, end-to-end label governance, and interactive wafer maps. Here is what’s new.

Demand Planning

Agent EyeQ Takes Its Seat at the Planning Table

Agent EyeQ now generates its own forecast stream, built on the full statistical algorithm library, which sits alongside the Planner, Sales, and Consensus streams in the workbench. Planners can evaluate it, override it, or use it to sharpen the consensus. Agent EyeQ also inherits agentic rights from its managing user, so it can run background solves and execute commands in any scenario within that user’s authority. It can even create tasks directly from planner notes, turning observations into actions without leaving the workflow.

Deeper, Faster Statistical Forecasting

New algorithms from leading open-source libraries bring modern machine learning methods into the forecasting workbench, alongside established statistical models. New level and algorithm selection optimization automatically finds the best model at the right aggregation level for each product. Performance improvements also deliver faster planning cycles for large portfolios.

Attach Rate and Take Rate Planning for ETO and CTO

Configure-to-order and engineer-to-order manufacturers have long been forced to plan in make-to-stock systems, with spreadsheets filling the gaps. Attach Rate and Take Rate planning lets demand planners forecast at the model level and use configuration mix to drive demand into options and components, with no part number required for every configuration. Agent EyeQ MTC adds AI-assisted mix planning, so when the mix shifts, planners see the effect on capacity and materials immediately.

Sourcing Split Optimization

New Sourcing Split Optimization introduces minimum site constraints and percentage-based splits at user-defined aggregation levels. Supply planners now have precise control over how sourcing is allocated across sites.

Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS)

Material Analysis Report

A new two-tab report shows planners exactly where material availability is holding up the plan. The Orders by Material tab flags bottleneck materials and links them to the affected orders, showing planned versus unplanned quantities and the first unplanned operation. The Material Trace tab gives a chronological profile of on-hand, consumption, and replenishment events for each material, down to the order-operation level, and highlights unfulfilled orders.

Material-Level Constraints and Shortfall Tracing

Individual materials can now be flagged as critical through the API, so they are enforced as hard inventory constraints while other materials follow the plan-level setting. A new Material column in the Fulfillment dashboard traces each unplanned operation back to the material causing the shortfall.

Faster, Leaner Engine Performance

Large-scale plants now see faster solve times and lower memory usage, especially with autoclave, affinity, or VFL setups. Slot file consolidation in Planning mode reduces slot entries by up to 95% in typical scenarios. Resources on different production calendars are now scheduled consistently.

Resource Descriptions

A new resource Description field appears on hover in the Gantt chart and in the Capacity Utilization, Sequence Data Analysis, and Production Bin Wise reports, giving planners context without leaving the view.

Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Next-Generation Electronic Controlled History Record (eCHR)

The eCHR is created automatically as work progresses on the shop floor and stored in blockchain tables, which makes it technically immutable and not just immutable by policy. Quality and compliance teams can now configure, without code, what is stored in the blockchain, how the record is displayed on screen, and how it appears in the printable audit report. Record content can now be adapted to new products, customers, or regulatory expectations through configuration rather than development projects, shortening change cycles and reducing validation effort.

Next-Generation Label Printing and Approval

Eyelit MES now approves the label template design and its source data together in a single system, with e-signatures compliant with 21 CFR Part 11. Each approval references verification images that operators compare against the rendered label before printing, catching non-compliant labels before they are produced. Approvals can now cover large label ranges as a batch or individually, route across technical, packaging, quality, and compliance sign-offs, and allow labels to be removed, corrected, and re-added without restarting the approval. Only fully approved labels can be released for production printing, and native BarTender® integration handles template selection, data injection, and rendered-image return.

Shop-Floor Label Reconciliation

New reconciliation tools give operators and supervisors a live view of every label printed, reprinted, and scrapped against target for each work order. Discrepancies show up at the workstation as they occur, and the system blocks order closure until counts match. Every print, reprint, scrap, and scan event is recorded in both the MES record and the eCHR, giving UDI-bearing labels full traceability without manual logs or spreadsheets.

Grid-Based Wafer Maps

Image maps can now be modeled as a configurable grid of interactive cells, optionally overlaid on a background image such as a wafer map. Axes can use sequential numeric or letter-based labels with configurable orientation, and cells can be marked by number or coordinate. When the lot’s product has an image map, the PROBE operation now auto-generates die IDs from axis label pairs, prefixed with the wafer lot ID for uniqueness.

Interactive Lot Maps

The lot Map page now displays the product’s image map with live counts of good and scrapped dies. Operators can multi-select cells to scrap, unscrap, or add comments. Users with the right privilege can lock individual dies as unscrappable. A Historical View shows the map as it appeared at any step where it changed. The same Lock Scrap and Add Comments actions are also available on the lot Content page.

Color Maps

A new Color Map object lets you set background and text colors in image maps based on item properties. For example, you can highlight scrapped dies on a wafer map or show IDLE tools in their own color on a facility map. Assets can now also be added to facility maps.

Special Processing

The Split and Overrides columns now also appear on the lot Structure page when a lot is in Special Processing, with steps inside a split range highlighted.

Shop-Floor Controls and Configuration

Administrators can now set a maximum lot quantity at lot creation and filter lot lists for null or empty values. They can also require comments when an operator re-performs a data collection. OPERATOR applications now lock tool Details by default, with specific fields re-enabled through configuration. Numeric data collection prompts no longer change value on mouse scroll. The Stock Lot field on Resource Requirement operations can optionally accept barcode scans.

Platform & Security

Agent EyeQ Everywhere You Work

Version 10.2 lays the foundation for Agent EyeQ across the Eyelit chat UI, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and external systems, so the AI can meet users where they already work.

Personal API Keys

Users can now generate personal API keys tied to their own role and permissions, so integrations get exactly the access their owner has and nothing more.

Safer Kubernetes Scale-Down

Improved scale-down handling no longer stops pods while they are running work, keeping cloud deployments efficient without interrupting jobs.

Usability & Accessibility

Planners get drag-and-drop reordering on inner rows, expanded formatting options, and a broad set of ease-of-use improvements that keep the system planner-owned without IT involvement. In MES, object headers such as the WIP lot header have been redesigned for readability, with fields sized to their content and empty values hidden. Search fields now take focus automatically when lists load, which speeds up barcode scanning. Reordering expressions and sub-conditions on the condition Definition page is now simpler. Filter Condition selection and Value and Result Args popups in scenarios are easier to use. The release version is now shown on the login page.

Overall, Version 10.2 deepens every layer of the Eyelit platform. Agent EyeQ becomes a trusted planning delegate, ETO and CTO manufacturers get planning that fits how they build, scheduling gets faster at scale, and MES delivers the immutable, audit-ready traceability regulated manufacturers depend on, from label design to the production record.
